NICK GWIAZDOWSKI
HIS Story
A two-time NCAA Division I National Champion for the North Carolina State Wolfpack, Gwiazdowski has won two bronze medals at the World Championships, a Pan American Games title, and two Pan American championships for Team USA. He currently works as an assistant coach for the Warren Central High School wrestling team.
His wrestling career picked up wrestling for Duanesburg High School. Then, he was a 2x NYSPHSAA DII state champion, went 50-0 his senior year, and won the Dave Schultz and Junior Schalles Awards.
From then, he wrestled for Binghamton University and later North Carolina State University. During this time, Nick was a 3x All-American, twice a national champion, and once a runner-up.
Internationally, Gwiazdowski competed in the 2017 Wrestling World Cup, 2017 World Wrestling Championships, 2018 Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin, and the 2022 Yasar Dogu Tournament. In all, he took home two bronze medals.
In 2026, Nick Gwiazdowski agreed to join the Blue Bulls Wrestling Summer Camp and teach NYS youth about wrestling techniques. We greatly appreciate his time and dedication to the sport.
