Blue Bulls Wrestling Club ASSISTANT Coach

HIS Story

Ben Freeman serves as assistant coach of the Blue Bulls Wrestling Club, as well an assistant coach to the Buffalo Wrestling program.

 

Coach Freeman was a two-year letterwinner for the UB Bulls, wrestling at 141 pounds.

 

Before Buffalo, Freeman began his career at Michigan where he spent three seasons as a 141-pounder.

 

A native of Michigan, Freeman wrestled at Walled Lake Central High School where he was a four-time state champion. He enjoyed a stellar high school career where he  had a perfect 137-0 record over his high school career, including a 34-0 mark his senior season.

 

He was the 2017 Michigan recipient of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award. He was a five-time Fargo All-American and captured the freestyle title at the 2017 Junior Nationals.

 

Coach Freeman graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2022 with a degree in psychology.
